Letter from Pastor
Saturday December 5, 2020
Hello Crossroads Family and Global Community,
Ministry during the end of the year Gathering Celebrations have always been such timely encouragements and introductions to the Jesus of Nazareth. Please take advantage of every opportunity we are offering that is safe, smart, and strong for you. We will do everything possible to encourage everyone who can possibly attend to do so. We will also do everything possible to encourage everyone who are not able to attend. Our growing Technology Ministry is working overtime in an all-out effort to encourage you through the media offerings.
Please know we are being prayerful and careful to prepare a safe environment at each gathering. Please pray for everyone here in ministry and especially our tremendous Worship Leaders. Try to imagine for a moment the challenge of leading in worship of a gathering filled with people wearing masks, watching their distances, and washing their hands. We are convinced that together with God’s power, we will come into a new normal. Those of us who are gathering are praying for each other and especially our worship leading family. We are also reminding ourselves to continue refraining from singing since singing particle emission is correlated with the amplitude of vocalization – or loudness – so singing releases more particles than other types of speech or breathing. It even spreads the virus more than coughing.
Our prayer for every person with whom we come into contact is to be used of God to assist in any way possible: thinkers to believe and believers to think (RZ). What a joy to receive the greatest gift in history. John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”
